Midaya commenced operations in 1968 and is a 100% export-oriented organisation. We manufacture a wide range of ceramic products out of Dolomite, Porcelain, Terracotta, Earthenware and Stoneware bodies. Our hand painted product range includes items such as figurines, music boxes, chandelier ceramic accessories, tableware, utility ceramic-ware, kitchen accessories, bathroom accessories etc. We are proud to say that we are the oldest ceramicware company in Sri Lanka and the only company with such a large product portfolio.


Products manufactured by us are under license for reputed licensors such as Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Lucas Arts, Warner Bros and some of our buyers include Marks and Spencer, Matalan, Price’s Patent Candle Company, Lefton, Hallmark, Fitz & Floyd, Enesco, Clay Art, Kato Kogei, Itoh Kanzo, Franklin Mint, Scholastic, San Francisco Music Box Co.
The above companies have carried out Comprehensive Compliance Testing in areas such as quality, working conditions, safety, treatment of labour, environment-friendliness etc, and found the conditions of our factory to be entirely satisfactory.
